My name is Hillary Bacigalupo and I am the boss babe behind all the ink here at On Point! On Point is my brainchild turned reality over the last several years. Hard work and the addition of a wonderful business partner, Marion and myself couldn’t be more grateful for where we are now in our business!

A thumb nail sketch on how On Point became On Point. I had what I like to call a ‘quarter life crisis’… come on sis, we’ve all had one … or two … of those (haha). In my early twenties, I was deeply engrossed in the corporate grind- fresh out of college and eager to make that money and prove to the world that I was someone in corporate America. Unfortunately, I was also completely burnt out at a very young age, brain fried, and my creativity was not even being tapped into in the least. It is safe to say that in my career, I was miserable. It took a lot of wading around in that feeling, and a very supportive husband and family, to push me to want to focus my energy on what truly brought me joy. A lot of self-reflection and self-discovery happened at this point in my life. I sat with my feelings, and started looking into WHAT made me happy! I settled on art, the freedom to be creative, and the ability to independently run my own schedule. Art has always been a passion of mine, my favorite class in grade school! I can remember begging my dad to let me ‘tattoo’ him with the 100 pack of glittery gel pens I acquired from Target! It is no surprise to me, or to my family, that things have come full circle and I am tattooing people’s faces and bodies for a living and loving every second of it! (thankfully not with glittery gel pens this time around!)

What you can expect when making the decision to book with me: Excellent communication (you can thank my momma for that, she’s a total boss babe rocking into her 19 th year of successful Real Estate transactions in the Boulder area. Proper communication is something she modeled to me from birth). An eye for detail, precision and cleanliness (you can thank my dad for that! He is an amazing anesthesiologist and instilled those traits in me from a very young age)! Creativity and the ability to work with your unique features to create something tasteful, timeless, and flattering for YOU! This is not a ‘one size fits all’ studio and I do not treat my clients like a cookie cutter stamp. I pride myself on being thorough and honest. I also care deeply about my reputation and my business. It is important to know that if you book with me, I will hold you accountable for your end of the stick in our tattooing process. I am willing to be upfront, and let you know if I don’t feel you are a candidate for the service desired. I will not be the right artist for everyone, and I am perfectly OK with that.

Outside of playing with ink on the daily, you can find me playing in the mountains, walking the local trails with my hubby and sweet rescue dog, Dixie. My husband and I are passionate about cooking (and eating) good food, so naturally we spend a LOT of time in our kitchen and feeding the people we love! Food is the way to my soul, ya’ll! Our family is scattered about locally here on the Front Range, as well as in Oahu, and the Chicago area. We spend as much time with all of our loved ones as possible!
